Jianfa Tsai’s Input

Jianfa Tsai posted feedback to the management of State Library Victoria on 2026 May 12.Zoom Webinar: Tuesday, 12 May 2026 10:00 AM (AEST), Researching Your Home [1]

  1. Max profits by feedback to State Library Victoria (SLV), all other State Libraries, global libraries, corporate, governments, universities and other company management, where the organisation host public facing Zoom live webinars to use the Zoom platform to share helpful tip/advertisement where the participants are made known that they can purchase high quality digital images, and other digital assets for personal study or research purposes from e.g. State Library Victoria. This generates a significant revenue stream. NB: Recently, there have been active library fundraising efforts. Why not the aforementioned?
  2. Webinar ended at 10:55 am (check the Zoom servers audit and server logs). as SLV is part of the Australian government, its important to keep the webinar to start on the dot at 10 am and end on the dot at 11 am, to ensure every cent of government funding to host the webinar is expended for max return on investment, the remaining time of the live webinar, can be used to communicate more information, tips, knowledge, advertise the library’s revenue generating services, and encourage participants to ask more questions.
  3. Audio issues with the male speaker’s headset, or voice, the female speaker’s audio in the same Zoom video is fine. It’s unlikely to be my internet, the Zoom server or my hardware. Consider investigating the male speaker’s hardware, computer, or internet connection. Please provide feedback to the Zoom and SLV IT teams to have the data packets and hardware forensically inspected to determine whether it’s due to cybercriminals hacking the live webinar to use shrill noises to cause psychological distress. This may or may not have been made known to Federal Police or SIGNALS intelligence agencies as a small one-time red flag, compounded globally over Earth’s remaining lifespan, resulting in significant damage and financial losses to various nations, organisations, management, and citizens.

ELI5 Review

Libraries can make more money by telling people during online classes that they can buy cool pictures and old documents. Online classes should also use every single minute of their scheduled time to give people more helpful tips or answer questions. If someone’s microphone sounds bad during a class, the library IT team should check the computer and the internet lines to make sure everything is safe and working perfectly.

Public Sector Revenue Generation via Digital Assets

Public libraries increasingly rely on entrepreneurial strategies to supplement government funding through the commercialization of digitized historical collections (Breeding, 2020). Integrating targeted promotional strategies during educational webinars provides a direct marketing channel to engaged, high-affinity users (Mierzecka & Wasilewski, 2021). This alignment of educational outreach with asset monetization increases institutional self-sustainability (Breeding, 2020).

Maximising Return on Investment in Scheduled Public Events

Strict adherence to scheduled timeslots ensures public institutions optimize resource utilization and maintain accountability for public funds (Commonwealth of Australia, 2023). Utilizing unexpired seminar time for community engagement, extended question-and-answer sessions, or auxiliary service marketing directly enhances perceived civic value and operational efficiency (Mierzecka & Wasilewski, 2021). Efficient runtime management supports rigorous public sector performance standards (Commonwealth of Australia, 2023).

Technical Quality Assurance and Security in Educational Telecommunications

Isolated audio degradation in real-time streaming often stems from hardware misconfigurations, localized packet loss, or suboptimal peripheral hardware choices (Zoom Video Communications, 2025). Routine network diagnostic audits and hardware forensic evaluations safeguard institutional platforms against technical vulnerabilities and external disruptions (Australian Cyber Security Centre, 2024). Maintaining high audio fidelity and operational security protects user well-being and institutional integrity (Australian Cyber Security Centre, 2024).

Action Steps

  1. Pitch an automated slide-deck framework to library management teams that seamlessly inserts digital asset purchase advertisements into the final five minutes of all public-facing webinars.
  2. Structure all future professional, academic, or library project presentations with rigorous buffer activities—such as feedback surveys or resource links—to fully utilize allocated calendar time.
  3. Establish a pre-webinar hardware and connection checklist for work and study calls, ensuring distinct audio-channel testing to prevent technical distortion.
